Recent ActivityClass Announcements Algebra/Intervention Canyon Hills' great math help program MASH (Math Assistance, Study, and Help) has begun and we have had grat attendance! It will run Tuesday-Thursday from 2:05-2:35. This is a math help (not TUTORING) session run by our esteemed math teachers. Students may work together on Math homework and get assistance, where needed. Students are required to a) be on time, b) stay the entire 1/2 hour period, c) work on Math homework, and d) be courteous and respectful. We have a "3-strikes and you're out" policy. So, come in, get to work, and have fun! In 1/2 hour, students are able to get a good start on their math homework for the day!
The first quiz of Chapter 7 wasThursday, January 12. Then, SURPRISE!! We had a Pop Quiz on 7-5 Tuesday, January 17! It was open notes, open workbook and most students did really well!! Possibly another quiz coming up before the test. The Chapter 7 Test will be on Friday, January 27. Grades have been uploaded as of January 21. Please check online grades and bring any discrepancies to my attention ASAP! Thank you for checking! Math MeetThank you to the many parents, step-parents and grandparents who helped with our Math Meet on Friday, January 21! Your help is greatly appreciated and very much needed! Our kids love Math Meet days and really like seeing the community get involved! Our next Math Meet is February 24. Hope to see you all there!
