| Please be advised that at this time there are no fires burning in the Chino Valley area or within our school boundaries. The first fire that is causing the most calls to our District office is off of the 60 Freeway between Diamond Bar and Phillips Ranch Road, west of us. The second fire is off of the 91 Freeway near Weir Canyon Road. There are no evacuation orders and there are no fires burning anywhere near our schools. |
Recent ActivityClass Announcements Algebra/InterventionWe will be working on Chapters 4 and 5 for the next several weeks. A Quiz on 4-2, 4-3, 5-1 and 5-2 will be given Tuesday, November 3. The Chapter 4/5 Test will be on Tuesday, November 17. Notes are due on this date. Our District-Mandated End-of-Trimester Test will be held on Friday, November 20. It will cover chapters 1-5. Extra Credit notes are due on November 20. Good luck!!
On Friday, October 30, students took the final Mutliplying/Dividing Fractions Diagnostic Quiz. This quiz is a Pass/Fail grade. Students may miss only one out of 12 to Pass. Students may now come in after school to retake this quiz if they have not yet passed. Have your student make an appointment with me. Students: Remember to save all of your notes. They will be worth up to 2% extra credit at the end of each trimester!! Extra credit notes are due Friday, November 30. More to come about this! Grades have been updated as of November 1. MASH (Math Assistance, Study, and Help) is held from 2:05-2:35 . This is a place for students to come to work on Math homework and receive Math help. It is open to all CHJHS students. Students wishing to attend MASH must a) be on time, b) stay the whole 30 minutes, 3) bring their math book and d) stay on task. MASH will be held every Tuesday-Thursday from 2:05-2:35. Students must have their math books if they are planning to attend MASH. We also have a Chaffey tutor at school. Mr. Sanchez will be available after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:05-2:45 in Room 104. Get the extra help!! Math MeetThank you to all of our parents who helped with the October 23 Math Meet! Your work and dedication mean the world to us!
