Welcome back to Canyon Hills on January 5!! I hope everyone is well-rested and ready to work hard!! We will be starting on chapter 6. There are lots of fraction problems so brush up on your fraction skilss! Yoohoo!!
Chapter 5 test scores are online. Check them out! Chapter 6 test should be about January 16.
Grades have been updated as of January 4, 2009. Please check grades regularly to keep up-to-date on your child's progress. Concern checks will be coming soon for those students' whose grades are below a 65%.

Our Math Department has implemented our M.A.S.H. (Math Assistance, Study and Help) program. It will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:05-2:35 in the classroom of a math teacher. See the schedule posted in your classrooms. It has been well-received so far by both teachers and students.
Where can your student get help? First of all...ASK QUESTIONS in or after class!! Also, odd answers are in the back of the book, try hotmath.com (see link below), Self-tests in the book (with answers), PASS on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-3, go to MASH every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:05-2:35, practice tests/review at the end of each chapter, read over your notes.
